First Impressions:

The view of mountains all around this area is amazing. The club house looks great from the parking area, and everything looks very well maintained.

About the course:

When checking in with the pro shop I was greeted by a very friendly staff person that was eager to help with my golf plan. There were some difficulties getting a group together, but I was able to get teamed up with one other guy that was okay with my plan of blogging the game. The clubhouse is equipped with everything you could need and practice areas are very nice with the amazing view of mountains all around them. I went to the first tee box, and the starter introduced me to Lou.

About Our Game:

After a not so good 1st tee shot, I got a difficult start and scored a double bogie on the first hole. After that I started getting a little better and made my first par on hole #4. On hole #8 Lou hit a nice shot that landed just about 5 feet from the hole and putted it in for a bogie. On hole #9 I was about 50 yards from the green and hit a shot that landed about 8 feet from the hole and ended up with a bogie. On hole #10 we both got on the green in regulation, and we both ended up with a bogie. Lou was frustrated by missing some par putts by maybe ¼’ several times. On hole #12 (par 3) Lou hit a tee shot that landed about 10 feet from the hole and went on to make par.

Results:

Lou               1-Par 0-birdie

Tony              2-Par 0-birdie

My Favorite Hole:

I think my favorite hole I played was hole #12. It was a par 3 with the tee-box up on a hill. I overshot the green and ended up with a bogie. Lou made par on this one.

My thanks to Lou for a great day out on a beautiful golf course.
